Blaze Breaks Out at Busy Greenford Road Restaurant

Firefighters raced to a roaring blaze at a restaurant on Greenford Road after an alarm blared at 2:14pm on Saturday, 28 March. London’s fire brigade deployed eight engines and about 60 firefighters to battle the fierce fire.

Swift Evacuation Saves Dozens

The fire erupted in the restaurant’s ground-floor ducting beneath residential maisonettes. About ten people managed to flee the building before the flames took hold. Miraculously, no one was hurt in the chaotic incident.

Firefighters Bring Inferno Under Control

Crews from Southall, Northolt, Park Royal, and nearby stations fought the blaze for over an hour. The fire was declared under control at 3:42pm after intense and coordinated efforts.

Probe Launched as Cause Remains a Mystery

The London Fire Brigade’s Fire Investigation Unit will inspect the scene to uncover what sparked the blaze. Local residents remain anxious as the official enquiry gets underway.
