Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters battled a fierce fire that tore through four industrial units on Eastbury Road, Beckton.

The blaze completely destroyed two fast food takeaway units. Nearby, a cash and carry unit and a car repair workshop were left damaged but standing.

Fire Brigade Heroics: No Injuries Reported

Thankfully, no one was hurt during the dramatic fire. The London Fire Brigade was alerted at 11.49pm, with the blaze brought under control by 3.12am on Saturday.

Fire crews from East Ham, Plaistow, Barking, Poplar, Stratford, East Greenwich, and other nearby stations joined the fight.
