British Airways Strips Logo from Brighton i360
Last night, locals spotted British Airways logos being peeled off the iconic Brighton i360. From today, the famous seafront attraction flies solo, ditching its sponsor to “further align” with the city of Brighton and Hove, say the owners.
Big Losses Hit i360 During Pandemic
The move comes after the attraction suffered a staggering £5 million loss during the pandemic’s peak. Adding to the woes, the council still owes a hefty £48 million on the project.
New Name, Same Landmark
With British Airways gone, the attraction will simply be called the Brighton i360 – no airline branding, just pure seaside pride.
