Blazing Farm Fire Rocks Ulcombe
Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a blazing farm in Knowle Hill, Ulcombe, near Maidstone. Two fire engines and a bulk water carrier battled the fierce flames.
Exploding Gas Cylinders Shake the Area
Firefighters fought the fire with hose reel jets. Early on, gas cylinders exploded, causing loud bangs that alarmed local residents.
No Injuries, But Chickens Perish
Luckily, no one was hurt in the fire. Sadly, several chickens did not survive the blaze. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
