Police have issued a warning to a primary school in Erith about a high-risk missing individual with a history of inappropriate behaviour towards children. The person is known to frequent school areas, sparking concerns among parents and staff.

Northumberland Heath Primary Takes Action

Northumberland Heath Primary School, located on Wheelock Close, confirmed on its Facebook page that it was notified about the missing person on March 13. Staff carried out a sweep of the local area before opening the school gates to ensure the individual was not nearby.

Safety Measures for Pupils

The school has advised pupils in years 5 and 6 to walk straight home without stopping at parks or shops. They were also reminded not to engage with strangers. The school added:

“You may choose to collect your children from school if you wish. This is all the information we have currently, and we will update you when we hear more.”
