Crane Protester David Chick Sorry for Worker Disruption
David Chick, 52, who’s currently perched atop a crane in East London, has spoken out through his solicitor. He’s apologised to construction workers who may have lost income because of his chosen protest spot.
Protester Issues Apology
“I am truly sorry for the disruption to the construction workers on site who may have lost income due to my location choice staging this peaceful protest,” Chick said.
Why He’s Taking a Stand
Chick blames the government for sparking an economic crisis that’s deepening the divide and pushing communities into poverty. He says we must unite to stop these destructive forces.
“The current economic situation, as a result of this government, is causing decades of divide between the people and untold poverty in future years. We must, as humans, do what we can to highlight the problems so that we can come together to stop them from destroying our communities, our businesses and hiding behind laws that they create.”
A Call to Action
Chick insists everyone is affected and urges immediate action. “I need to do something. I need people to see this. We must Resist the Reset.”
