But sources claim he “nobbled” Boris Johnson and was assured by the PM that he could stay on his five-star beach holiday until Sunday. He finally touched down in the early hours of Monday morning, days after the crisis had exploded.
Taliban Show Off US Gear
Less than a week after Kabul fell, the Taliban has released eye-popping propaganda footage showing fighters decked out in full US tactical gear. Humvees and other American military vehicles have been seen cruising Afghan streets.
At a packed mosque on Friday, a senior Taliban splinter group leader brandished a US-made M4 rifle while preaching, surrounded by fighters sporting US military uniforms.
Billions in US Weapons Left Behind

Mass Evacuation Underway
On Saturday, the US Department of Defense confirmed 17,000 evacuees have been flown out of Kabul airport, including 2,500 American citizens.
However, officials revealed that some Americans and Afghans targeted for evacuation faced harassment and even beatings en route to the airport, underscoring the chaos gripping the city.
