Brand New Docs Join E4’s Embarrassing Bodies!
E4 has unveiled a fresh line-up of doctors for the hit series Embarrassing Bodies. Meet Dr Jane Leonard, Dr Anand Patel, and Dr Tosin Ajayi-Sotubo. These experts will tackle baffling medical mysteries and break down the stigma around common, often ignored conditions.
Fresh Format: Celebs & Confessional Clinics
This series is stepping up the game. The doctors won’t just be diagnosing behind closed doors. Celebrity voices will jump in with wild stunts designed to get Britain buzzing about major health and sexual health issues.
Plus, pop-up ‘confessional clinics’ will appear in cities across the UK. These safe spaces will give patients the courage to ask awkward questions or seek advice about embarrassing conditions they’ve hid for too long.
Meet The New Doctors
Dr Jane Leonard
Dr Jane is a dual-threat NHS GP and cosmetic doctor with a first-class honours degree in anatomical sciences – focusing on the face, head, and neck. She treats everyone from footballers’ wives to TV stars, handling issues like body dysmorphia and excess hair growth.
Her dermatology research from Melbourne hit top medical journals, and she’s been featured in Grazia, Vogue, The Telegraph, and more. During the pandemic, Dr Jane was a frontline hero at Soho’s Covid 19 escalation centre, sharing her experience on TV and online.
Dr Anand Patel
Dr Anand first qualified in 2000, left medicine to teach sex education, then returned to become a GP in 2008. He works at a South London GP practice and specialises in men’s health and sexual function at Harley Street. He’s a go-to expert for erectile dysfunction, painful sex, and testosterone issues.
In 2012, Dr Anand became one of the UK’s first Fellows of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine. He’s on top medical boards and trains other GPs to comfortably discuss sex and related conditions. He also co-hosts “The Pleasure Podcast,” covering everything from queer and feminist sex to tackling taboos in the South Asian community.
Dr Tosin Ajayi-Sotubo
London-based Dr Tosin works in NHS and private GP care, focusing on public and women’s health plus preventive medicine. A University of Manchester graduate, she holds a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Founder of Mind Body Doctor, Tosin champions health education online and on social media. Recognised as a UK NHS Clinical Entrepreneur, she’s passionate about how technology can transform healthcare outcomes.
