Sixty Firefighters Battle Blaze at Forest Hill Home
Eight fire engines and about 60 firefighters swarmed a house fire on Melford Road, Forest Hill, early Monday morning.
First Floor and Roof Ravaged by Flames
The fire gutted the entire first floor and severely damaged the roof. Thankfully, a man and woman escaped the home unharmed before crews arrived.
Neighbours Treated at Scene
A woman from a nearby property was checked over by London Ambulance Service paramedics but did not require hospital treatment.
