Blaze Breaks Out in Thornton Heath Flat
Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters rushed to a flat fire on London Road, Thornton Heath.
A large part of a second-floor flat in a six-storey block is currently ablaze. The London Fire Brigade was called just after 1pm and remains at the scene.
Massive Fire Response Across Local Stations
- Fire crews from Norbury, Croydon, Shadwell, Woodside, Mitcham, and Wallington fire stations are battling the blaze.
Cause of Fire Still Unknown
Officials have yet to determine what sparked the fire. The investigation is ongoing as firefighters work to bring the situation under control.
