Missing UK Teen Beauty Queen Vanishes in Poland
An urgent search is under way for Ania Czopinski, 18, a former Miss Teen Great Britain semi-finalist, who disappeared in Poland more than a week ago. CCTV footage last caught sight of her at Krakow John Paul II International Airport around 11pm on Monday, 11 November 2024.
In the video, Ania is seen pulling a suitcase with hand luggage through the airport lobby. She wore grey ripped jeans, a black jacket, and black trainers.
No ID, No Phone, No Language
Worryingly, Ania had no identification documents or mobile phone with her. Though of Polish origin, she had never visited Poland before and does not speak the language, raising serious safety fears.
“An 18-year-old British citizen has gone missing. People with any information about the missing person are asked to contact the Police Department in Zabierzow. Thank you for your help.”
— Krakow District Police Headquarters
Ania stands around 160-170cm tall, lean build, with dark blonde hair.
History of Disappearances Rings Alarm Bells
This isn’t the first time Ania has vanished. In August, after attending Leeds Festival, she failed to return home. Her family launched a frantic social media appeal before she was found safe. Her father, Stephen Czopinski, expressed relief:
“I’m glad to report Ania is safe and sound and back home now. We really appreciate your concern and well wishes.”
— Stephen Czopinski
Family and Authorities Plead for Help
Ania’s family remain devastated and have yet to comment publicly on this latest disappearance. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) said it stands ready to assist British nationals abroad, though it has not been contacted yet.
Communities in the UK and Poland are shaken, with friends and fans flooding social media with messages of hope and calls for any tips.
