Fire crews rushed to a massive blaze at a luxury flat in Thurloe Square, valued at a staggering £11.8 million when last sold.
Road Closures and Bus Diversions Bring Chaos
The Met Police closed Thurloe Square in both directions. Buses serving the area have been forced onto diversion routes, causing delays for commuters.
Ten Fire Engines and 70 Firefighters Battle Blaze
At around 9pm on Wednesday, ten fire engines and seventy officers descended on the scene to tackle the fierce fire. Support from Southern Water was called in to boost water pressure.
Thankfully, there have been no reported injuries in the dramatic incident.
