Hampshire police arrested five people today (Wednesday 6 May) during a major operation targeting organised theft of plant machinery in Southampton and nearby areas. Searches at commercial premises on Paynes Road, Southampton, and locations in Totton led to multiple seizures including suspected counterfeit cigarettes and a forklift.

Major Police Operation

Officers carried out warrants on storage units and vehicles, securing suspected stolen goods. Along with machinery, clothing and mobile phones were seized in a wide-ranging search.
