Shaun the Sheep Art Invasion Hits Brighton & Hove This Autumn!
Get ready, Brighton and Hove! This autumn, 50 unique Shaun the Sheep sculptures will pop up across the city in a cheeky new art trail. The project is a collaboration between local hospice charity Martlets and animation legends Aardman, famous for the lovable Shaun.
Martlets CEO Unveils Exciting Shaun Trail
The epic adventure begins… Martlets are thrilled to be working with Wild in Art for the third time to bring another spectacular art installation to Brighton & Hove. After the smashing success of Snowdogs in 2016 and Snailspace in 2018, we’re buzzing to welcome Shaun the Sheep for eight weeks this autumn. Our previous trails raised over £600k, funding vital hospice care and boosting the local economy. Now, Shaun by the Sea promises even more fun and community spirit!” – Claire Irving, CEO of Martlets
Bringing Joy and Boosting the Local Economy
After two tough years of the pandemic, this colourful trail arrives at the perfect time. It’s set to lift spirits, unite communities, and pump cash into Brighton’s economy. Martlets says Shaun by the Sea will bring together families, schools, artists, businesses, and volunteers – all rallying for those affected by terminal illness.
Get Involved and Support a Great Cause
Martlets is calling on everyone to join the fun. There are plenty of ways to get involved, from sponsoring a sheep to participating in community events. Businesses can gain prime exposure alongside Shaun and his trailblazing flock, while supporting life-changing hospice care right here at home.
Keep your eyes peeled and your cameras ready – Shaun the Sheep is about to take Brighton & Hove by storm!
