Fuse Board Fire Sparks Rapid Response in Gravesend Home

Firefighters raced to a Northfleet house after a fuse board caught fire on Monday afternoon, 26 May 2025. The blaze broke out on Dashwood Road just before 4:45pm, prompting Kent Fire and Rescue Service to dispatch two fire engines.

Crews donned breathing apparatus and tackled the fire head-on with high-pressure hose reel jets. Their quick action stopped the flames from spreading through the property.

Electrical Fault Blamed for Blaze

An electrical safety engineer from 1 was also on site. Investigations point to an accidental fire caused by an electrical fault in the fuse board. Luckily, no injuries were reported.
