76-Year-Old Michael Jerram Vanishes After Boarding Ferry to Spain
Police are growing worried about Michael Jerram, 76, who disappeared after boarding a ferry from Portsmouth to Spain. The retirement-age man was last spotted on Friday 7 February, making a mysterious journey that has left family and officers baffled.
Last Seen on Brittany Ferries
Michael was seen boarding the Brittany Ferries ship Cap Finistère around 5pm on 7 February as a foot passenger. The ferry docked in Santander at 5.30pm the next day, but Michael has not been heard from since.
What He Was Wearing
- Brown flat cap
- Dark padded jacket with arm motif
- Red scarf
- Burgundy jumper over white top
- Jeans and dark shoes
- Possibly carrying a black rucksack
Michael is a white male with short brown hair. He may look frail or unsteady on his feet. He travelled to Portsmouth on Thursday 6 February and stayed overnight in a hotel before boarding the ferry.
Could He Have Left the Ferry Early?
Investigators believe Michael might have left the ferry with another passenger by car. Police want to hear from anyone who saw or spoke to him on 7 or 8 February aboard the Cap Finistère.
