Urgent Search Underway for Missing 81-Year-Old Man on Isle of Wight
Police have launched a major search on the Isle of Wight for 81-year-old Mohammad Salih, who vanished without a trace yesterday afternoon. Concern is mounting as the elderly man has not been heard from since he was last spotted around 1:20pm on Sunday in the Shanklin Road area of Godshill.
Island-Wide Search Effort in Full Swing
The operation kicked off early Monday at 1:30am, involving multiple rescue teams including WightSAR, Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team, the 1 Coastguard Rescue Team, and the Coastguard search and rescue helicopter, all combing the area to find Mr Salih.
What Mohammad Looks Like
- Height: 5ft 7in
- Build: Small and very thin
- Hair: White/grey
- Clothing: Black woolly hat, thin yellow nylon coat, thick black woollen fleece, dark trousers, black leather shoes, and gloves
- Other: May be carrying a small blue pouch bag
