Man Dies in Horror Late-Night Crash Near Southampton
Tragedy struck last night on the A3057 between Nursling and Romsey when a fatal smash claimed the life of a 20-year-old man from Southampton.

Police rushed to the scene shortly after 10.30pm following reports of a crash involving a black Volkswagen Lupo and a silver BMW 520. The driver of the Lupo sadly died at the scene.
Injuries to BMW Occupants
The male driver and female passenger in the BMW suffered injuries but were taken to Southampton General Hospital with conditions described as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Officers are now hunting for anyone who saw the vehicles before or during the collision. They are also in the process of informing the deceased’s next of kin.
“We urge anyone with information to contact PC Paul Brown at the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit on 101, quoting Operation Castington,” said police.
