U23 NW Cops Pound Pavement in Full Gear for Ratana 10K
Officers from the U23 North West area pushed themselves to the limit by completing the #Ratana10k marathon. But there’s a twist—they ran the entire 10K wearing full public order kit.
Heavy, Hot, and Humble Tribute
- Gear included overalls, balaclavas, stab vests, and protective pads.
- The sweltering outfit made the run even tougher—imagine laps in sweaty, heavy gear.
- All done in honour of the late PC Matt Ratana, showing ultimate respect and dedication.
“That’s a lot of laps in heavy and sweaty overalls, balaclava, stab vest and pads,” the force noted.
This grueling effort highlights the officers’ commitment both to fitness and to remembering a fallen colleague.
