A tense drama unfolded at a South Yorkshire train station on Friday, March 18, around 5.30pm. A woman stepped off a train and casually dropped a flask filled with hydrochloric acid into a bin on the platform.
Two Men Open Poisonous Flask – Strong Smell Forces Evacuation
Two unsuspecting men picked up the flask and opened it, releasing a powerful, noxious chemical smell. The dangerous fumes forced the immediate evacuation and closure of the station for several hours while emergency services scrambled to contain the hazard.
