Chaos on Newcastle Train as Heated Row Turns Ugly
A peaceful train journey from Newcastle on Saturday night erupted into chaos after a heated argument over an open window.
Row Over Open Window Sparks Violence
At around 6.23pm on 5 March, a man and woman boarded the train and opened a window. Two other women on board strongly opposed this and confronted the couple. Tempers quickly flared, leading to violent threats.
Violent Outburst Leaves Man Injured
One of the women then leapt over the seats and tried to punch the man, leaving him with a scratch on his face. She also attempted to snatch his mobile phone. Both women proceeded to throw their drinks at the couple, causing chaos.
Passengers Step In, Police Seek Witnesses
