In a swift response, officers issued fixed penalty notices (FPNs) to more than 50 ‘Covidiot’ drivers flouting lockdown rules.

“This is not an essential journey! As a result, over 50 FPNs have been issued and further intelligence submitted,” said some very pleased officers.
