Ozzy Osbourne Honoured with Stunning Brighton Mural at Prince Albert Pub
Legendary Rocker Forever Tattooed on Brighton’s Walls
A bold new mural of Ozzy Osbourne now graces the side of Brighton’s iconic Prince Albert pub. The artwork pays tribute to the Black Sabbath frontman, who passed away on 22 July at the age of 76.
Brighton’s Musical Hall of Fame Gets Heavier
The Prince Albert, a hotspot on Trafalgar Street famed for celebrating music legends, already boasts murals of Bob Marley, Freddie Mercury, and Elvis Presley. Ozzy’s larger-than-life portrait now joins this hall of fame, immortalising his rock god status.
Remembering Ozzy’s Brighton Connection
- Ozzy rocked Brighton Dome twice: in 1972 with Black Sabbath’s Master of Reality tour and again on Halloween 1980 during his solo Blizzard of Ozz tour.
- His passing came just weeks after Black Sabbath’s final show at Villa Park, Birmingham, marking the end of an era.
This mural cements Ozzy’s legacy in the city where he once rocked the stage – a fitting tribute to the Prince of Darkness.
