Woman Killed After Shocking Woking Crash Involving Two Cars
Surrey Police are on the hunt for witnesses after a fatal collision tore through Woking on Friday night. At around 8:45pm on Monument Road, near the Arnold Road junction, a blue Peugeot and a BMW crashed violently.
Pegueot Mounted Pavement, Woman Fatally Struck
The impact forced the Peugeot onto the pavement where it hit a woman in her 50s walking by. Despite paramedics’ best efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have informed her next of kin.
Road Closed, Drivers Cooperating with Police
The road was closed for hours while officers scoured the scene for evidence. Both drivers are currently assisting with the investigation.
