Teen Attacked and Robbed in Dargavel
A 15-year-old boy was mugged and robbed of his mobile phone in a shocking street attack on Lochview Wynd, near Craigton Drive, Dargavel. The assault happened at around 7.40pm on Monday, 28 November 2022.
Public Rushed To Help Teen After Violent Assault
The teen was helped by passers-by and rushed to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment. Fortunately, he was later released.
Masked Gang of Four or Five Suspects on the Loose
The culprits are described as four or five males aged between 15 and 20. All were wearing dark clothes with hoods up and faces covered, making identification tricky.
Police Plea: Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
Detective Constable James Campbell said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident and we are appealing for the assistance of the public. I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident and who hasn’t already spoken to officers to contact us. I would also appeal to anyone with any private CCTV or dash-cam footage to contact us.”
