Woman Dies in Horror Crash on A2 Near Dartford Heath
A tragic fatal crash unfolded in the early hours of Saturday, 12 November 2022. At around 2:45am, emergency crews rushed to the London-bound A2 carriageway near Dartford Heath, only to find a woman dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
Deadly Collision Involves Lorry and BMW
The smash involved a white DAF lorry. Reports say the woman had been travelling in a grey BMW that had stopped on the coastbound carriageway before the collision.
Investigation & Road Closure
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is probing the incident. The crash forced the closure of the road but the coastbound route finally reopened at 10:15am on Saturday.
Dashcam Footage Urgently Needed
Kent Police want motorists who were driving along both sides of the A2 during the early hours to check their dashcams. Any footage could be vital to the investigation.
