Tragedy on Bradford Road: Young Man Killed in BMW Crash

Fatal Collision Shocks Pudsey

The Major Collision Enquiry Team (MCET) is urgently appealing for witnesses after a deadly crash on Bradford Road at around 2.26pm on Monday, April 11.

A black BMW M2, heading towards Pudsey, struck a man in his 20s who had just stepped off a bus and was crossing the road. Despite immediate first aid and medical efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two Drivers Arrested on Dangerous Driving Charges

The driver of the black BMW M2 was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Police also arrested the driver of a grey BMW X5, believed to be travelling alongside the M2, on the same suspicion.

Both men are currently in police custody as the investigation continues.

Police Call for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

DS Fiona Allan of MCET said: “We are continuing to investigate this very serious collision which has tragically resulted in a young man losing his life.”

She added: “We want to hear from anyone who saw the crash, saw the BMWs before the incident, or has phone or dashcam footage.”
