Girl Snatched Near Woods in Droylsden – Police Launch Manhunt
Greater Manchester Police rushed to Droylsden around 4pm after reports of a young girl being taken near Warne Road. Officers believe the child was led into a wooded area close to a disused railway track heading towards Manchester Road.
Child Found Safe, But Search On For Suspect
Thankfully, the girl was quickly reunited with her family. But police remain on high alert with a large presence scouring the area. Detectives are hunting for a man linked to the incident and have released two images of him.

The snapshots show the suspect on Gainsborough Road, about half an hour after the abduction, walking towards The Snipe. Police urge anyone who spots him to dial 999 immediately.
