Police Hunt Man Targeting Young Girls in Accrington Town Centre
Law enforcement in Hyndburn is on high alert after reports emerged of a man behaving inappropriately towards young girls in Accrington town centre.
Distinctive Suspect Caught on CCTV
The suspect is described as sporting a lip piercing, a nose stud, and tattoos on both hands. Lancashire Police have released CCTV footage showing the man roaming the area and are urging anyone with information to step forward immediately.
Police Appeal to Public
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said:
“We want to speak to this man regarding reports that he has approached young girls in 1 town centre and acted inappropriately towards them.”
Reassuring the Community
Authorities acknowledge parents’ and guardians’ concerns and promise to act swiftly.
“We understand these reports will be concerning to members of the public, especially those with children. We are making every effort to locate the individual in the CCTV footage,” the spokesperson added.
