Bomb Squad Descends on Bromley Police Station After WWII Ordnance Found

Bromley Police Station has been evacuated after a member of the public handed in an unexploded World War II bomb. The discovery sparked a major emergency response tonight.

Chaos on High Street as Police Station Cleared

The suspicious device was brought to Bromley’s High Street police station earlier this evening. Officers immediately called in the Met’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team to assess the threat.

For safety, staff and visitors were evacuated. Nearby businesses and passersby were also warned to steer clear of the area as bomb disposal experts took control.

Transport for London confirmed that bus services through Bromley town centre are being rerouted, causing delays across multiple routes. Commuters are urged to plan ahead.
