Four fire engines and 25 firefighters raced to a blaze on Beresford Road, Hornsey, this afternoon. Fire crews battled the flames after being called at 4.24pm.
Man Pulled to Safety Through Ground Floor Window
One man was heroically rescued via a ground floor window amid the chaos. He was rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service for urgent care.
Fire Under Control Within the Hour
The fire seriously damaged part of the ground floor but was brought under control by 5.23pm. Crews from Hornsey, Holloway, and Tottenham stations joined the firefight.
