Detectives are desperate to find Alexander “Alex” Sloley, who vanished from his Islington home back in August 2008. Just 16 at the time, Alex is described as a light-skinned Black male, about 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build, with striking blue eyes. His family and friends have been left devastated, with no word from him for over a decade.

Police Make Fresh Appeal with £10,000 Reward

Detective Chief Inspector Sarb Kaur, leading the investigation, said: “Alex was reported missing on 8 August 2008. Despite extensive enquiries, he remains missing. We are now offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information that leads to his whereabouts.”

She added: “This is an active investigation, regularly reviewed by senior officers. We’re determined to find Alex and help bring some comfort to his family. Anyone with any information – no matter how small – should contact us immediately.”
