Man Found Dead on Edgware Tube Tracks Identified
Police have named the man who died on the tracks at Edgware Tube station in North West London as 42-year-old Rizwan Ahmeed. Authorities are urgently appealing for help to track down his family.
Tragic Morning Rush Hour Death
The British Transport Police were called to Edgware station during the busy morning commute on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Officers and paramedics found Mr Ahmeed on the tracks. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is described as unexpected but not suspicious. A file has been sent to the coroner as investigations continue.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Family
Mr Ahmeed was originally from Pakistan but had been living in the UK. He was known to have lived in London as well as Newquay, Cornwall.
At the time of his death, he had short black hair, a beard, and was wearing a black waterproof hooded coat with black jogging bottoms.
Police are asking anyone who knows his family or has information about Mr Ahmeed to come forward urgently.
