Wooburn Common Road Shut After Giant Tree Crashes Down
Sheepcote Lane, between Hedsor Lane and Heathfield Road in Wooburn Common, Buckinghamshire, is closed and will stay shut. Thames Valley Roads Policing shut the road after a massive tree was slammed by strong winds and toppled, bringing down live telephone wires.
BT Engineers Step In to Fix the Damage
The closure remains in place as BT engineers prepare to secure the dangerous cabling first thing in the morning. No reopening time has been announced yet.
