Missing Man Mystery: Where is Peter Henderson?
Peter Henderson, 65, vanished from Sittingbourne over two weeks ago. The grandfather was last spotted at 12:17 a.m. on November 19, 2024, near Pear Tree Walk in Newington. Since then, he’s disappeared without a trace.
What Peter Looked Like Last
Peter stands about 5ft 10in tall, white, with light grey hair slicked over, a short grey beard, and wears glasses. On the night he went missing, he sported a green raincoat, brown trousers, shoes, and carried a grey backpack. Notably, he had an orienteering map with him.
Police Hunt and Plea for Help
Police have launched a full-scale search. Officers have combed through CCTV, spoken to locals, and canvassed homes, but still no sign of Peter.
“Peter has been missing for more than two weeks now, and we remain determined to get him safely home,” said Swale Chief Inspector Vanessa Foster. “We know from CCTV he walked northwest towards Orchard Drive.”
She added, “We urge residents with garages and outbuildings to be vigilant. Anyone with CCTV or doorbell footage that could help should come forward immediately.”
