Blaze Erupts in West Kilburn – Multiple Fire Crews Race to Three-Storey Home
Major Fire Response on Elgin Road
Firefighters from the London Fire Brigade were scrambled to a three-storey property on Elgin Road, West Kilburn, after reports of a fire late Tuesday evening.
Six fire engines and teams from several stations arrived just after 9.10pm on March 28, responding to alarms and smoke billowing from the building’s windows. Multiple people were initially unaccounted for, raising urgent concerns.
Armed with Hoses and Thermal Drones
Two firefighter teams, equipped with breathing apparatus, entered the property with hose reels and began a full search. Specialist drone units using thermal imaging have been deployed to track the fire and locate anyone trapped inside.
Road Closures and Emergency Services at Scene
Close-by roads have been shut to traffic, with drivers urged to find alternative routes. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, including a HART (Hazardous Area Response Team) specialist unit, are also on site treating the incident.
