Blaze Breaks Out in Tottenham Home – 40 Firefighters Rush to Scene!
House Fire Devastates Loft and First Floor
Yesterday evening, six fire engines and around 40 firefighters scrambled to a house fire on Arnold Road, Tottenham. The flames tore through part of the first floor and loft of a two-storey terraced house. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the inferno.
Calls Flood in as Fire Rages
The London Fire Brigade’s 999 Control Officers received seven urgent calls reporting the fire. Firefighters from Tottenham, Walthamstow, Holloway, and surrounding areas arrived swiftly to tackle the blaze.
Incense Sticks Spark Dangerous Fire
The cause? Suspected improper use of incense sticks.
“Candles, incense sticks, and oil burners are one of the most common causes of fire,” a London Fire Brigade spokesperson warned. “Never leave these items unattended. Keep them away from anything flammable.”
“Always place them in heat-resistant holders on stable surfaces to prevent accidents,” they added.
Quick Response Gets Fire Under Control
The Brigade was called at 5.28pm and had the fire fully extinguished by 6.37pm. Their rapid action prevented even greater damage.
