Shop and Flat Blaze in East London Under Control
A raging fire ripped through a ground floor arts and crafts shop and spilled into a flat above in East London this afternoon. Firefighters tackled thick smoke and flames that swallowed most of the shop and part of the first floor.
Flames Tackled, No Injuries Reported
Station Commander Paul, leading the response, told us: “Firefighters fought hard to douse the fire at the arts and crafts shop and the flat above. Thankfully, there are no reports of injuries.”
Smoke Clears, But Area Still Closed Off
Heavy smoke filled the streets earlier but has now started to clear. Roads remain shut as crews continue dampening down and securing the scene.
