A Stagecoach bus caught fire this afternoon on Hamstreet Road, near Ashford, sparking an urgent emergency response.

Blaze Breaks Out Near Bromley Green

The fire erupted around 3:00pm on a bus heading towards Bromley Green. The blaze started between Bromley Green and Capel Road.

Thankfully, all passengers and the driver made it out safely with no injuries reported.

Firefighters Rush to Scene

Fire crews quickly arrived and doused the flames. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown. Authorities are investigating.

“We can confirm that one of our vehicles was involved in an incident on Hamstreet Road this afternoon. All passengers and the driver were safely evacuated, and there are no reported injuries. We are working with the relevant authorities to establish the cause,” said a Stagecoach South East spokesperson.
