Temporary Traffic Lights Go Up in Flames at Exceat Bridge
East Sussex Fire Service raced to the scene overnight after temporary traffic lights caught fire on the west side of Exceat Bridge at Cuckmere.
Firefighters Douse Blaze Quickly
A spokesperson for ESFRS said, “We were called at 00:06 this morning, 21 February, to reports of a fire affecting traffic lights near the Cuckmere Inn.”
Fire crews swiftly used a hose reel to extinguish the flames. The fire was deemed accidental, with no injuries reported.
