M25 Chaos: Animal Waste Spill Sparks Massive Delays in Hertfordshire and Essex

Commuters are facing brutal hold-ups on the M25 anti-clockwise after tonnes of animal waste spilled inside the Holmesdale Tunnel between Junction 26 (Waltham Abbey) and Junction 25 (Cheshunt).

Massive Clean-Up Underway

Thames Valley Police and Highways England Traffic Officers rushed to the scene. Specialists are needed to clear the toxic mess, sparking lane closures and gridlock.

Traffic Nightmare: 5 Miles of Tailbacks

Lanes 2, 3, and 4 remain shut, leaving only lane 1 open. This has caused around five miles of bumper-to-bumper traffic stretching back to Junction 27. Drivers should brace for delays of at least an extra hour on top of normal travel times.
