Firefighters Race to Candle Blaze in Chatham Home
Firefighters from Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a smoky blaze on Albert Road, Chatham. Three fire engines arrived to find thick smoke and flames pouring from a first-floor window.
Candle Sparks Flames, No Injuries Reported
Crews battled the fire using breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet. Thankfully, no one was hurt. Investigators believe the fire was accidentally started by a candle left unattended.
