Firefighters Battle Blaze in Eastbourne Flat

East Sussex Fire and Rescue rushed to a fire on the first floor of a home on Seaside Road, Eastbourne. Six firefighters went inside, armed with six breathing apparatus sets.
Hoses and Heavy Gear in Action
Crews fought the flames using two hose reel jets, working hard to bring the fire under control.
Update: Fire Now Extinguished
By 3:25am, the fire was fully out. Two fire engines remain on scene, dampening hot spots. Thankfully, all residents have been accounted for with no injuries reported.
