Jumpstart Your Career in Portsmouth
Throughout the week, council apprentices and managers will star in campaigns to boost awareness. Currently, Portsmouth City Council employs 41 apprentices across various departments—and they’re keen to take on more.
Apprentices earn while they learn, gaining hands-on experience, training, and qualifications. Legal apprentice Jordan Salvage, 20, said:
“Being an apprentice works for me because it gives me a good career path and practical experience. You study and get paid, which is great.”
