Trump Launches Furious Attack on London Mayor Sadiq Khan

Donald Trump went on the warpath against London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan, branding him “horrible, vicious, disgusting.” The US President blamed Khan’s success on a migrant surge and slammed his leadership as a “disaster” with “totally different ideology.”

“He’s done a terrible job. London’s a different place,” Trump declared, making no bones about his disdain for Khan’s tenure.

Trump Tears Into Europe Over Borders and Political Correctness

The bombastic Trump didn’t just stop at Khan. He took aim at Europe’s political leaders, accusing them of being “too politically correct” and soft on immigration.

“I think they want to be so politically correct. I think they don’t know what to do,” he said, demanding Europe get rid of “people that came into the country illegally.”

His National Security Strategy ominously warned Europe could become “unrecognisable in 20 years or less” due to demographic shifts and economic woes, hinting at what he called the “stark prospect of civilisational erasure.”

Trump Slates Europe’s Handling of the Ukraine War

Not sparing Europe’s Ukraine response, Trump slammed their efforts as “not doing a good job.”

“They talk but they don’t produce. And the war just keeps going on and on. Four years now,” he griped.

Trump even suggested Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should consider ceding land to Russia, claiming Moscow holds the “upper hand.” Zelensky shot down any idea of territorial concessions.

Khan Fires Back: “No Idea Why Trump Is Obsessed With Me”

Khan responded coolly to Trump’s tirade, expressing bafflement at the US President’s fixation.

“I literally have no idea why President Trump is so obsessed with this mayor of London,” Khan said. “I’m not sure what he’s got against a liberal, progressive, diverse, successful city like London.”

He added, “London is becoming a different place. We are the greatest city in the world,” pointing to record numbers of Americans visiting, investing, and living in the capital.

UK Government Hits Back on Ukraine and Trump’s Claims

Downing Street swiftly rejected Trump’s swipe claiming Europe is “not producing anything” over Ukraine.

“You’ve seen the number of countries involved in the coalition of the willing discussions,” a Number 10 spokesperson said. “You’ve also seen the UK leading on sanctions, including against the shadow fleet.”

The spokesperson highlighted the UK’s strong partnership with the US on trade and security, emphasising “the positive outcomes that it has had for the British people.”
