When the child showed health issues, the bus stopped and 911 was called immediately. Despite emergency paramedic treatment, she passed away in hospital in Marion County, Illinois.
The bus had left Brownsville, Texas, headed to Democratic-run Chicago as part of Governor Greg Abbott’s controversial programme, Operation Lone Star — which has relocated over 30,000 migrants across the US in the past year.
