Teen Bailed in Michael Freshwater Murder Probe
A 17-year-old boy from London has been bailed by detectives investigating the murder of Michael Freshwater. The teenager was arrested on Tuesday, May 10, on suspicion of murder and conspiracy to supply class A drugs. He has been released on bail until July 12 while inquiries continue.
Michael Freshwater Found Dead in Westridge Road
Michael Freshwater’s body was discovered at a property on Westridge Road at around 4.15pm on Friday, April 29. Police are urgently hunting two men linked to the case: 23-year-old Tristan Pope and 21-year-old Kevin Suika.
Police Issue Warning to Associates of Suspects
Detective Superintendent Becky Riggs said: “If you know where these men are, if you’ve seen them or think you know where they might be, get in contact with us. Call Hampshire Constabulary on 101 and quote Operation Windless.”
“Associates and friends should be aware that helping Pope or Suika evade arrest or harbouring them is a serious offence. Those caught could face arrest and jail time themselves.”
