Police Renew Hunt for Bicester Rape Suspect
Thames Valley Police have relaunched their urgent appeal for information following a rape in Bicester. The attack happened at around 2.50am on Saturday, May 25, when a woman in her late teens left a pub on Sheep Street.
Victim Attacked in Alleyway
The woman was walking through Market Square with the suspect before they entered an alley near Chapel Street. It was there she was raped.
The attacker is described as a white man, late 30s to early 40s, about 5ft 10in tall, with a skinny build. He had short dark hair with silver or grey sides and spoke with a foreign accent. He is believed to have a distinctive spot or mole on his left cheek and was wearing a dark jacket.
Arrest Made but Man Released on Bail
A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape on May 29 but has since been released on police bail until June 26.
Police Seek Witnesses to Pioneer Square and Hunter Close
Detective Sergeant Mark Personius urged anyone in the area around 1.30am that Saturday to come forward. “We believe the victim may have been in Pioneer Square and Hunter Close at about 1.30am, possibly with a man,” he stated.

The victim is receiving support from specially trained officers as the investigation continues.
