A man arrested for carrying a firearm and ammunition in south west London has been charged Shakeer Bentamoune-Wilson, 18 of Tangley Grove, Roehampton is due to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 11 April charged with possession of a prohibited weapon with intent to endanger life, possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life, and possession of herbal cannabis. Officers stopped a taxi Bentamoune-Wilson was travelling in at around 22.45hrs on Wednesday 8 April in York Road SW11, and found him to be in possession of a plastic bag containing a sawn-off shot gun and cartridges. He was arrested and taken into custody at a south London station/">police station where he was subsequently charged as above.
