Kent Fire and Rescue Service sprang into action after a lightning strike sparked a house fire on Speldhurst Hill, Tunbridge Wells.

Six fire engines roared to the scene as thick smoke poured from the building’s roof. Firefighters quickly donned breathing apparatus and climbed ladders to attack the blaze.
Firefighters Bring Blaze Under Control with Powerful Jets
Using hose reel jets, main jets, a fog spike, and water from a hydrant, crews battled the fire and brought it under control.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the dramatic blaze believed to have been caused by the lightning strike.
